EasyCare ProTec Scale and Stain Remover

Protec’s powerful Synertec cleaners remove and prevent both white calcium scale-deposits and stains (due to iron and copper) on surface of decorative fountains, birdbaths, tabletop fountains and water gardens.

Utilizing the newest technology, Protec’s Synertec formula contains a highly synergistic blend of organo-phosphonates and copolymers, Protec functions by utilizing several mechanisms involving dispersion, crystal modification and “threshold inhibitation”. The product’s absorption onto a calcium crystal’s site helps weaken, dissolve and prevent further precipitation. Stains are removed and prevented by solubilizing metal ions, (adsorption) and dispersed (inhibition).

Dosage Amount Examples (detailed dosage chart on bottle):

• 1/2 ounce of ProTec per 10 gallons of water as a preventative treatment or 1 ounce per 10 gallons of water for stain and scale removal
• 4 ounces of ProTec per 100 gallons of water as a preventative treatment or 8 ounce per 100 gallons of water for stain and scale removal
